Porsche Panamera makes its debut on 3rd of October at Porsche Centre SaigonPorsche presents the new Gran Turismo
Prestige Sports Cars Co. Ltd, the official importer of Porsche in Vietnam, presents Porsche’s fourth model series, the Panamera, at the Porsche Centre Saigon.
The four-door Panamera combines a wide range of features and offers a unique mixture, not yet seen, in the premium luxury performance segment. The Panamera comes with all the sporting and dynamic characteristics of a genuine Porsche combined with a very high standard of driving comfort and spaciousness. Despite its extra-low and sleek coupe silhouette, the Panamera offers more than ample space and roominess inside for four passengers and variable loading space for a substantial amount of luggage.
Apart from PDK, the double clutch gearbox, Porsche is introducing the first Start-Stop system in conjunction with automatic transmission. For the first time in the luxury performance class, Porsche is including a new adaptive air suspension with additional air volume on-demand in each spring. Also new as an active aerodynamics feature is a rear spoiler with multi-dimensional adjustment moving up at the appropriate speed on the top-of-the-range Panamera Turbo. All Panameras offer a high standard of fuel efficiency without compromising on outstanding performances.
Speaking at a press conference to the media of Vietnam, Mr. Andreas Klingler, General Director of Prestige Sports Cars said: “Porsche has developed a complete new car, which will redefine the four-door luxury segment. The Panamera is a typical true Porsche with outstanding performance, comfort and efficiency. Porsche has managed, with the new Panamera, to bring more spirit into the luxurious car segment. It doesn’t have to be boring anymore to drive in a four dour car”.
The Panamera is entering the market with three models:
1. The Panamera S with 400 hp, an engine torque of 500 Nm and top speed of 285 km/h. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 5.2* seconds.
2. The Panamera 4S has the same engine as the Panamera S but needs for the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h only 4.8* seconds thanks to its permanent four wheel drive concept.
3. The Panamera Turbo which is the top performer with 500 hp, engine torque of 700 Nm and an incredible top speed of 303 km/h. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 4.0* seconds.
The base price of the Panamera S starts from VND 4.812.300.000 including Vietnam options, Import Tax, Special Consumption Tax and VAT.
