Sime Darby Auto Performance unveils the new Boxter GTS & Cayman GTSPurism without sacrifice – Gran Turismo Sport

Kuala Lumpur. Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP), the importer of Porsche vehicles in Malaysia, launched the new Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS on 3rd July 2015, at the newly opened Porsche Centre Sungai Besi in the heart of the city centre. At Porsche, GTS stands for Gran Turismo Sport and has cultivated outstanding performance ever since it was first introduced on the 904 Carrera GTS in 1963. Today, the GTS principle has become the emblem for racetrack performance and incredible sportiness on everyday drives. It is only logical for it to eventually adorn another mid-engine sports car, this time the Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS.

“The GTS concept has already been implemented in the 911, Cayenne and Panamera. And now the very same concept adorns the new Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS, both lightweight mid-engined sports cars, making it possible for customers to enjoy superior race track performance with uncompromising everyday utility and comfort,” said Arnt Bayer, Chief Executive Officer of SDAP.

The base price for the new Boxster GTS starts from RM 660,000 and the new Cayman GTS from RM 700,000 which includes a 4-year factory warranty and a 4-year complimentary service maintenance package. The prices stated include all applicable duties but excludes registration fee, road tax and insurance. Specifications and prices are subject to change without prior notice. Terms and conditions apply.
