Hong Kong .Jebsen Motors Limited today announced record 2010 sales figures for Porsche Centre Hong Kong and Macau. A total of 924 new Porsche cars were delivered to proud owners, with 818 being delivered in Hong Kong and 106 in Macau. This represented an overall 103% increase over 2009 and is an all time record for the brand in these markets.

All models in Porsche’s line-up enjoyed strong customer demand during the year. Leading the way was the newest addition to the Porsche family, the four-door ‘Gran TurismoPanamera.  Building on the highly successful debut of the V8 powered models in late 2009, the new V6 engined Panamera and Panamera 4 models were introduced in 2010. Together, all the Panamera models recorded impressive sales figures of 411 units in 2010.

The Boxster, Cayman and 911 models continued their market leadership. The 911 remains the leading model within the premium sports car segment with 124 cars delivered during the year and similarly the Boxster and Cayman model lines extended their segment leadership with 133 units delivered, reflecting a growth of 49% over 2009.

Sales of the Cayenne models further demonstrated the continued strong and positive customer response to Porsche’s Sport Utility Vehicle and in July 2010, the new Cayenne models – the Cayenne V6, Cayenne S Hybrid, Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo were launched in Hong Kong. In total, 256 Cayenne models were delivered during 2010, representing an increase of 35% over the previous year.

In addition to the strong sales result in 2010, Porsche Centre Hong Kong continued to achieve new milestones in customer service facilities. In March, a new flagship showroom was opened in Gloucester Road, Wan Chai. The new showroom showcases the brand’s global corporate identity and is the ideal location for motoring enthusiasts to experience the Porsche marque. Furthermore, in late 2010, Porsche Centre Hong Kong completed an extensive refurbishment of its body and paint repair facilities in Chai Wan. The latest facility now boasts a state-of-the-art paint oven and the latest in repair equipment and technology, ensuring customer vehicles are restored to factory condition under environmentally conscious conditions. It is the only Porsche Factory approved body repair facility in Hong Kong.

Further developments are planned for both Hong Kong and Macau during 2011.
