During the annual Kuwait Motor Show held at the leading luxury leisure destination in Kuwait, 360 Mall, Porsche Centre Kuwait, Behbehani Motors Company, showcased the latest generation of the brand’s popular compact SUV, the Macan GTS, in a display that brought forward its enhanced performance and sportier design.
The Macan GTS distinguished itself during the show with its striking Python Green exterior color which is exclusive to this model. The vehicle comes with the GTS Sport Package, 14 additional colors and 21-inch GT Design wheels in Satin Black across seven new wheel designs. It features a redesigned nose finished in black, tinted LED main headlights including the Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS Plus), standard Sport Design exterior mirrors and a rounded off rear with a striking diffuser.
Supporting the sportier look is an optimized performance with a 44 kW (60 PS) power boost over its predecessor, the Macan GTS is the most powerful model in the range, delivering 324 kW (440 PS) which lets it reach from zero to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 272 km/h.
Further refined with the 2.9-litre, V6, biturbo engine that efficiently produces outstanding power and torque, the model comes equipped with Porsche’s seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission (PDK) and Porsche’s Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel-drive system.
Thanks to a further optimised chassis, the Macan GTS offers a wide suspension bandwidth, balancing maximum comfort and dynamic sports car performance on all road conditions.
As for the interior, it mixes modern dynamism with elegance, featuring a 10.9-inch full HD touch display of the Porsche Communication Management. It also adopts the new multifunction and GT Sport steering wheels from the 911 while a number of leather upholstery and contrasting seam packages are available to add new colour highlights to the interior.
With its Individual Colour and Paint To Sample options, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur significantly expands the design freedom for the Macan GTS, giving customers access to over 700 options to individualise their vehicle.
