Cayman S outdoored
Porsche Centre Accra has outdoored its new-generation of Cayman to its customers and media personnel in a splendid event which took place at Santoku, Villagio, in Accra.
Addressing the gathering, the Managing Director of Porsche Centre Accra, Mr Subhi Accad said “The new Cayman is built for driving through bends. Coupled with height reduction, shorter overhangs, as well as a wider track width in front and rear, the new Cayman offers outstanding stability at high speeds and additional agility in bends”.
The Porsche Cayman is powered by a 2.7 –litre flat-size cylinder engine and it produces 275 horsepower, accelerating from zero to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds with a top speed of 266 km/h. It consumes 15 per cent less fuel per 100 km than the predecessor – despite higher engine and driving performance.
The Cayman S, a sibling of the Cayman, uses a 3.4 –litre naturally aspirated flat-six cylinder engine for an output of 325 horsepower. Accelerating time from a standstill to 100 km/h time is 4.7 seconds with a top speed of 283 km/h.
