Dynamic handling you can feel.

E-Shift replicates the sensation of the​ Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) with high precision. The shift strategy, shift feel and gear-dependent torque adjustment during acceleration and deceleration become directly perceptible.

Listen to the performance.

Engine speed, torque, speed and gear changes: E-Shift transmits every detail to the Porsche Electric Sport Sound system. The result is an emotional soundscape adapted to the driving situation — both inside and out.

Precise control.

Follows a long Porsche tradition – the E-Shift rev counter at the center. The GT Sport Steering Wheel with paddles is also designed for sporty driving. It enables precise gear changes for maximum control in every driving situation.

Porsche Electric Sport Sound.

Turns the characteristic Porsche sound design into a sound experience: Porsche Electric Sport Sound. The optionally available system emotionally amplifies the vehicle's own sound both outside and inside. The system comes as standard in the Taycan Turbo S and offers a specific sound that stands out again.

Turns E-Performance into all-electric GTS Performance: the especially sporty setup of the drive and chassis systems.

GTS setup.

The GTS chassis with a more rigid lateral stabilizer on the rear axle and adaptive air suspension with specifically adapted PASM ensures greater dynamics and agility. The standard control systems such as PTM and PSM as well as the optional rear-axle steering are also designed to enhance performance.

The system applies moderate brake pressure to the inside rear wheel when needed during cornering. Together with the rear differential lock, traction and dynamics are optimized.

The optimized cell chemistry of the 33-module battery enables higher energy density — for increased performance that also delivers long range. A new cooling concept for the heat pump, which is standard, also increases efficiency.

For fast charging with up to 320 kW charging power and outstanding performance, the batteries are based on 800-V technology. The technology also enables smaller cable cross-sections, for reduced vehicle weight.
