Porsche is awarded the 'Goldene Plakette' (Golden Plaque)Series from Zuffenhausen and Leipzig convince the TÜV (Technical Monitoring Association)

Stuttgart. As the overall winner of the 2010 TÜV Report, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, was awarded the 'Goldene Plakette'. At yesterday's award ceremony held by the TÜV Federation in Berlin, Bernhard Maier, Chief Executive Officer Porsche Deutschland GmbH, Bietigheim-
Bissingen, accepted the renowned prize on the company's behalf. 'We are delighted to receive this prize. In addition to driving dynamics and efficiency, value retention and reliability are core characteristics of our series, as the Technical Monitoring Associations could establish in its inspections.'

Like Porsche in the overall ratings, the classic sports car 911 was also ranked first both in terms of outstanding quality and reliability in the category of the two- to three-year-old vehicles and the six- to seven-
year-old vehicles. The Boxster convinces as well, with its superb workmanship and, amongst other things, is the best sports car in its class in the category of eight- to nine-year-old vehicles.

The current TÜV report is based on an assessment of more than
7.4 million general inspections carried out by the Technical Monitoring Association in Germany over a period of twelve months. The TÜV engineers regularly confirm the outstanding long-term quality of the Porsche models and already gave top rankings to the 911 and Boxster in previous years.
