EUR 6,000 special payment to every employee of Porsche AGWorkforce benefits from positive business development in jubilee year
Stuttgart. Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, is making sure its employees share in the company's exceptionally positive business development this year, too. The Executive Board and the General Works Council have agreed that for the recently-concluded business year 2007/2008 (to July 31), in addition to his or her annual remuneration consisting of 13.7 months' salary (inclusive of a holiday bonus and a Christmas bonus higher than required by industry's normal scale), each full-time employee of Porsche AG who joined the firm prior to August 1, 2007, will receive a voluntary special payment of EUR 6,000. In the previous year, a similar payment of EUR 5,200 was made.
The Executive Board and the General Works Council are both of the opinion that the successful efforts of the Porsche workforce to increase productivity, flexibility and quality should also be rewarding for those concerned. Thus EUR 3,800 of this year's special payment relate to the operative result, while EUR 700 of the prospective special item are from financial transactions. Workers will receive EUR 1,500 in honor of the 60th anniversary of the brand, which the sports car manufacturer is celebrating in 2008. The Executive Board intends this jubilee payment as a 'thank you' to all employees for their high degree of commitment and their special dedication.
The special payment will be transferred together with the wage or salary at the end of October. The payment for the 'thirteenth month' will then be transferred at the end of November.
