Intensive training and great tours with 911, Boxster, Cayman and CayennePorsche Driving Experience presents its new program
Stuttgart. Once again in 2008, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart is offering special events organized by the Porsche Driving Experience, for all those who enjoy travel that is out of the ordinary, and relish driving training in sports automobiles. Now you can choose from the wide range of programs in the new Porsche Travel Club and Porsche Sport Driving School catalogs, also accessible on the Internet. Racing circuits and desert trails are among the destinations, as well as the long, tree-lined avenues of Germany’s Baltic Coast.
The Porsche Travel Club calendar has been extended to include five more events; it now offers a grand total of 25 tours lasting one or several days for private persons and corporate clients, traveling in specially provided Porsche vehicles. In the one-day tours to the Porsche Works in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen and in Leipzig, participants can take a ‘behind the scenes’ look at the manufacturer of premium sports automobiles. The Adventure Tours lead through scenic landscapes from Hamburg to the Isle of Rügen, from Ludwigsburg to St. Moritz, along the Côte d’Azur in the South of France, or in convoy across South Africa. In addition, there are ten different Weekend Offers – including new trips along the Moselle and to the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge). At four Porsche Camps, participants will experience sport driving on and off the road surface. The destinations are the unique ice landscapes of Finland, the Alpine passes of the Italian Dolomites, the serpentine coast-roads near Portofino along the Ligurian coast, and the desert of Dubai.
In the Porsche Driving School, both first-time participants and advanced drivers can enjoy individual safe-driving training under the tuition of Porsche instructors. Practice takes place on national and international racing circuits such as the Hockenheimring, the Nürburgring, Magny-
Cours and Suzuka, where each participant has the opportunity to enhance his or her driving skills at different training levels. In addition, there is also the possibility of taking a test for a national racing license.
For lady newcomers there is also “Women Only“, a special training exclusively for women. Advanced men and women drivers can choose between g-Force Training, the Telemetric Session and the Track Days.
In g-Force Training, participants learn to transfer the power of their vehicle to the road while negotiating curves, even without electronic stabilizing controls. In the Telemetric Session, measurement technology technicians and engineers from the Porsche Research and Development Center in Weissach, Germany analyze each participant’s driving style. The Track-Days put the emphasis on free experience driving around the circuits.
All the events of Porsche Driving Experience are also bookable as incentive offers for companies. More information can be found on the Internet at www.porsche.de/travelclub/ and www.porsche.de/sportdrivingschool/.
