Germany’s juniors battle for one qualifying wild card in Filderstadt 29 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, 1 - 9 October, Filderstadt

Stuttgart. Initiated by Operating Tournament Director Anke Huber and Fed Cup captain Barbara Rittner, the nine best German under 18 juniors will battle it out on 28 and 29 September for the right to play qualifying at the Por-sche Tennis Grand Prix . Entry is free for spectators.

The players taking part are: Dominice Ripoll (born in 1989), TC BASF Ludwigshafen ; Sabine Lisicki (1989), RW Berlin; Angelique Kerber (1988), TGA Henstedt-Ulzburg; Andrea Petkovic (1987), TEC Darmstadt; Korina Perkovic (1987), Offenbacher TC; Justine Ozga (1988), THC im VfL Bochum; Tatjana Priachin (1987), TK GW Mannheim; Laura Siegemund (1988), TC Karlsruhe-Rüppurr; Carmen Klaschka (1987) TC Siebentisch Augsburg.

The decision regarding wild card No 2 has already been made: Tatjana Malek (Rot-Weiß Tuttlingen) won the wild card that Porsche Tennis Grand Prix offered for the best up and coming under 25 German woman (as of 12 Sep-tember) at the 25,000 US Dollar Hechingen Ladies Open (14 – 18 August).

There’s a total of four wild cards awarded for the renowned tournament in Filderstadt. Tournament Director Mar-kus Günthardt and Anke Huber will grant the two remaining wild cards.
