OttoCars in Gold and Silver for PorscheAwards for Company and Product Films and DVDs

Stuttgart. At the 7th International Automobile Film and Multimedia Festival “AutoVision” in Frankfurt, a total of five contributions from Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, were awarded OttoCars in gold and silver. Participating in the worldwide competition were not only automobile companies, but also advertising agencies, production companies and broadcasting stations. An international jury selected the best work in various categories from 260 entries. Porsche impressed the jury twice in the Product Presentation Film/Car category. An OttoCar in Gold was awarded to the contribu-tion “ Augenblicke“ (Moments in Time) which provides information on the current Porsche 911. The film “Sport in Zahlen“ (Sport in Figures) which describes the technical finesses of the Boxster won a silver award. In the Image Film category, Porsche’s contribution “Trotzdem” (Nevertherless) received a silver OttoCar. Gold was awarded to the DVD “The New Boxster And Boxster S” which presents the new roadster generation. All these prize-winning films were produced in cooperation with the Frankfurt-based advertising agency Klaus E. Küster. In the Information Film/Research and Development category Porsche received a silver OttoCar for the film “F.A. Porsche: Design muss ehrlich sein” (F.A. Porsche: Design must be honest). The contribution describes the lifework of Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, who designed various racing cars as well as the Porsche 911 in the Sixties. He later founded his own design studio and the luxury brand “Porsche Design”. This film was produced in collaboration with the Stuttgart-based agency Schwäble und Wolf.
