Porsche sales in North America still at high levelCayenne deliveries continue to increase in November

Stuttgart. Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, November 2004 achieved a sales rate in North America close to the record number of the same month the previous year. In USA and Canada, a total of 2,547 vehicles were delivered to customers. Compared to last year's figure of 2,654 units, this represents a slight decline of four percent. Nevertheless, sales remain high.

825 vehicles from the 911 range were sold in North America (previous year: 872 units), the new generation of Carrera models already representing a remarkable proportion. The super sportscar Carrera GT was sold 18 times. A strong decline was registered November for the Boxster; sales were down to 106 vehicles (previous year: 396 units). In this context, it has to be noted that the new generation of the roadster will not be introduced to the North American market before mid-2005 – Porsche expects sales to pick up strongly then.

Sales of the Cayenne models again increased, November reaching 1,598 vehicles (previous year: 1,386 units) and thus continuing the sporty off-roader's success in the most important Porsche market.
