'The Art of Drive' is a first-time collaboration between Porsche, Vogue and WIRED. Geared towards inspiration and education, the platform brings together trailblazers across fashion, tech, music, design and culture. The aim? To empower the next generation’s goals via immersive and interactive experiences – think documentaries, articles, interviews, events, panel talks and more.

Presenting success stories – both personal and industry-wide – of transformation across diverse spheres, 'The Art of Drive' offers an in-depth resource of inspiration.

St. Vincent, aka Annie Clark, leads the charge. Chameleonic in the way she presents a fresh contrast with each new album, her skill for self-reinvention in order to innovate is second to none. “Every record I make, I'm really trying to make a world from start to finish,” Clark says in the short film she has co-created for the platform. “It obviously starts with the music, but then I'm trying to continue to tell the story through what I look like, what the videos look like. And it's all me, it's all different parts of my personality.”

As the film unfolds, Clark shares more details about what compels her creative mission. “I feel immense gratitude for what my heroes did to make my life easier, as an artist and a person, but also for the deep work that they made,” she says. “I really hope that I make it easier for the next generation to be whoever they are and say whatever they want to say.”

In the film, she returns to the artists who have inspired her own work, explaining why mentorship, making an impact and leaving a legacy are particularly important to her. “To me, success means getting to make work that I 120 per cent believe in. And to make great things for the next generation” she summarises.

Building on Clark’s insight are a series of mentors – creative thought-leaders in their own fields, who will in turn share their ideas, learnings, challenges, motivations and successes with 'The Art of Drive’s' audience. Each demonstrates the power of authenticity and proves that the path to success is a constant evolution.

There’s British-Jamaican tech founder Sharmadean Reid, for example. Passionate from an early age, she started her first hip-hop magazine at university, and is now the creator and CEO of Beautystack and The Stack World, realising her dream to create economic and social empowerment for women through technology and media.

Elsewhere, German-Ethiopian model Sara Nuru gained recognition as the winner of the fourth season of Germany’s Next Top Model, and has since become a dedicated social entrepreneur. She’s an ambassador for the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, and founded social enterprises NuruCoffee and NuruWomen, importing fair-trade coffee to facilitate better opportunities for women in Ethiopia.

Meanwhile, American stylist Karla Welch – namechecked as one of fashion’s most powerful by The Hollywood Reporter and The New York Times – is adept at reinvention in order to level up.

And then there’s Porsche colour and trim designer Barbara Sika, who left her teaching career to retrain as a designer and made her mark on the automotive industry.
