Producing 404 kW (550 hp), the new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with twin-scroll turbines proves to be particularly powerful. The maximum torque of 770 Nm is achieved between 1,960 and 4,500 rpm. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes only 4.1 seconds.
The rear seats, like the front seats, are designed to be either particularly comfortable or especially sporty and, therefore, also feature elevated side bolsters. Now even more flexible, they can be folded down in the ratio 40 : 20 : 40, offer 160 mm of fore/aft adjustment and boast 10 adjustment positions for the backrest angle (to 29 degrees). Depending on the model, the luggage compartment has a resulting capacity of between 745 litres and a maximum of 1,710 litres.

The innovation behind this brake is the first ever combination of a cast-iron brake disc with a ceramic coating (tungsten carbide). Advantages over the conventional cast-iron brake of comparable construction and size: even better responsiveness and particularly high fading stability.
The brake dust formation associated with conventional brakes is reduced. Thanks to its new kind of surface coating, the brake disc retains its silvery sheen even after a long time in use. In addition, the ceramic coating helps to maintain a permanently shiny friction surface in everyday operation. Brake calipers with a white painted finish lend this brake its distinctive look.

Night Vision Assist provides the driver with information even beyond the range of the headlights. An infrared camera detects pedestrians, deer and other large wildlife before they are illuminated by the headlights. In combination with PDLS Plus, the marker light function briefly flashes the headlight at the pedestrian on the kerbside or in the carriageway three times to alert the driver's attention.
The LED matrix beam strategically deactivates specific segments of the permanent main-beam cone. 84 individually controlled LEDs adapt to the situation ahead by switching off or dimming accordingly. Vehicles in front or in the oncoming lane are faded out, while the areas in between and to the side continue to receive full illumination.
PDLS Plus, which includes all the functions of PDLS, comes with electronic cornering lights and an Intersection Assistant function based on navigation data. As you approach a crossroads or T junction, the Intersection Assistant activates the left and right cornering lights, and the light cone becomes wider and shorter – for enhanced illumination of your surroundings.
Quiet, please, as we introduce a total output of 1,455 watts, 21 individually controlled loudspeakers including an active subwoofer with 400-watt class D digital amplifier, two-way centre system and a total diaphragm surface area of more than 2,500 cm2.
