More Presence , More Incentives – Porsche continues building Asian Motorsport Culture

The Porsche Carrera Cup Asia Team was formed as Porsche continues its role as one of the most influential forces cultivating Asian Motorsport culture in the region.

Representing significant progress in that goal was the launch of Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific in 2017, which saw increased access and support for customers with all of Porsche’s GT models as well spare parts, marketing and engineering support in regional races such as the Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia, China GT and Intercontinental GT Challenge.

The Team Carrera Cup Asia entry into the Bathurst 12 Hour is the latest in exclusive opportunities offered to its Pro and Pro-Am drivers to compete in international competitions, with Porsche Carrera Cup Asia regularly supporting top-performing drivers enter into international events as incentive for strong performances throughout the regular Porsche Carrera Cup Asia season.

“The Bathurst 12 Hour is one of the most challenging and scenic endurance competitions in the Asia Pacific region. Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific is thrilled with the opportunity to take part and support an incredibly talented line-up of Porsche drivers for this year’s event. Our main goal is to provide our customer teams with the strongest vehicles, service and support possible – and we couldn’t have asked for a better race or more dedicated teams to do so we wish all of our drivers the best of luck!” Head of Motorsport Asia Pacific Alexandre Gibot said during the press conference.

The Bathurst 12 Hour will be streamed live on the Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific and Porsche Carrera Cup Asia website and social media platforms.
