Xiamen – the Heron Island – welcomes its second Porsche CentrePorsche China deepens presence in Southern China and continues to enhance dealer network

Porsche Centre Xiamen Haicang held its grand opening ceremony on 18 May, bringing Porsche's world-renowned services to Xiamen and neighbouring areas.

Porsche Centre Xiamen Haicang has been built to Porsche's global standards,covers an area of 11,212 square metres and is capable of displaying 15 Porsche sports cars simultaneously. Porsche Centre Xiamen Haicang boasts a professional sales and after-sales service team, providing Porsche customers and enthusiasts with comprehensive services, and helping them to choose and customise their dream Porsche sports car.

Shanghai/Xiamen. 18 May 2021, Xiamen welcomed the grand opening of the city's second Porsche Centre, Porsche Centre Xiamen Haicang. The opening of Porsche Centre Xiamen Haicang serves not only as a significant step in the continued expansion of Porsche into Xiamen, but also as a milestone in the steady development of Porsche in the Southern China market, attesting to the great importance Porsche places on this region. On the opening day, Dr. -Ing. Jens Puttfarcken, President and CEO of Porsche China; Mr. David Xiao, Chief Operating Officer of Porsche China; Mr. Julian Zhu, Director Region South of Porsche China; Mr. Zhao Guiming, CEO of German Automobiles Group; Mr. David Zhang, GM of the Porsche Centre Xiamen Haicang, along with many other guests and members of the media were onsite to witness this memorable moment together and get a first glimpse of the latest state-of-the-art technology on offer.

Porsche Centre Xiamen Haicang covers an area of 11,212 square metres and is capable of displaying 15 Porsche sports cars simultaneously. The service center at Porsche Centre Xiamen Haicang is equipped with 17 work bays and 2 direct dialogue bays. Along with the advanced maintenance equipment which conforms to Porsche’s global standards, Porsche Centre Xiamen Haicang also boasts a professional sales and after-sales service team who provide Porsche customers and enthusiasts with comprehensive services and help them to choose and customise their dream Porsche sports car.

2021 marks the 20th anniversary of Porsche’s entry into the Chinese mainland. Over the past 20 years, we have witnessed the demand for high-performance personal mobility grow in China. During this time, the tastes of Chinese people have continued to evolve and sports car culture has become part of their everyday life. Now, in 2021, as the strength of the economy continues to drive consumption, Porsche China received a positive start to the year with a robust 56% year-on-year growth rate representing a total of 21,991 cars delivered in the first three months of 2021. Porsche will continue to be customer-oriented and bring more quality products, services and sports car culture experiences to Chinese consumers.
