Porsche China to implement new Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices All-new Cayenne Coupé price announcement

Shanghai. According to the recent Notice on Deepening VAT Reform Policies jointly issued by the Ministry of Finance, the State Administration of Taxation and the General Administration of Customs, Porsche China will implement new Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) on all models sold in mainland China, effective as of 1 April 2019. This action marks another wave of MSRP adjustment for Porsche after the sports car manufacturer actively responded to the national policies of lowering the VAT rate and import tariffs in 2018. Meanwhile, the MSRP adjustment also covers part of Porsche Options, enabling customers to enjoy a wide range of personalized options with optimized prices thus enhancing their driving experience.

Porsche continues to present a variety of fascinating models which have enabled customers to better experience the ultimate appeal of the marque. The all-new Cayenne Coupé, already available for order in China, has been receiving wide acclaim and attention since its world premiere last week. With this MSRP adjustment, the MSRP of the all-new Cayenne Coupé and the all-new Cayenne Turbo Coupé have also been announced simultaneously, with MSRP of RMB 998,000 and RMB 1,908,000 respectively. With this new model, Porsche extends Cayenne model line into a new segment. The Cayenne Coupé inherits all the technical highlights of the third generation of Cayenne, but also has an even more dynamic design and new technical details. Its more progressive, athletic, and emotional image clearly presents to even younger customers with exclusivity and an expressive lifestyle. Both new Cayenne Coupé models will celebrate its Asia Premiere at the coming Auto Shanghai 2019.

Since the very first introduction in 2002, Porsche Cayenne has been very popular with customers around the globe. The third-generation of the Cayenne has continued to be a success story since its official delivery to the Chinese customer from last March. Following the principle of being “customer-oriented”, we have continued to collect customer feedback and regularly fine-tunes vehicle configurations to better meet customer demands. After in-depth research, it was decided that the adaptive air suspension – including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) – is to be made available as standard for the all-new Cayenne basis model. This system actively and continuously controls the damping force for each individual wheel depending on road conditions and driving style, greatly enhancing driving stability and comfort. The new MSRP of the all-new Cayenne basis with adjusted configurations will be effective with this MSRP adjustment.

Please refer to the table below for the adjusted MSRP range of every Porsche model line. The MSRP listed on the Porsche official website will be adjusted on 1 April, 2019.

Meanwhile, according to relevant laws and regulations, the retail transaction prices of Porsche products are subject to the determination of respective Porsche authorized dealership. For the details of retail transaction prices, please consult with the respective Porsche authorized dealership.
