Grand Opening of Porsche Centre Wuhan Dongxihu in HubeiPorsche China further strengthens its dealer network in the Central China region

Shanghai/Wuhan. On 21th March 2019, the Porsche Centre Wuhan Dongxihu held its grand opening ceremony. The Porsche Centre Wuhan Dongxihu is located at the intersection of Taizhong First Road and Shenghe Road in the Dongxihu District of Wuhan City, Hubei Province. As the third Porsche authorized dealership in Wuhan, this centre will bring Porsche’s world-renowned service excellence and meticulous customer care to the Central China region. It also further establishes the Porsche brand in the Central China market and illustrates Porsche’s dedication to making continuous efforts in the region. Dr. Ing. Jens Puttfarcken, President and CEO of Porsche China, Mr. David Xiao, Vice President Sales of Porsche China; Mr. Ye Fan, Chairman of China Meidong Automobile Holdings Co., Ltd.; Mr. Ye Tao, President of China Meidong Automobile Holdings Co., Ltd.; Mr. Li Qunli, Porsche Brand Director of China Meidong Automobile Holdings Co., Ltd.; Mr. Wu Zhongping, General Manager of Porsche Centre Wuhan Dongxihu; and many media and guests witnessed this memorable moment together.

Porsche Centre Wuhan Dongxihu is built with Porsche's global standards and is committed to providing fasinating products and customised experiences to its customers. It is spread across 11,000 square metres and includes a state-of-the-art showroom that is capable of simultaneously displaying 17 Porsche sports cars. It has a comfortable and luxurious negotiation area and rest area, providing personalized customization services. The Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur area is designed to meet the various needs of customers, offering personalized options and services to create their customized dream car. Porsche not only provides high-end luxury sports cars, but also strives for an outstanding after-sales service experience. The center has 17 work bays and 2 direct dialogue bays. It uses Porsche's global standard testing equipment and special maintenance equipment, and every Porsche technician has undergone rigorous training and screening, all in order to meet the all round customer needs, and provide the strongest guarantee for all Porsche vehicles.

Wuhan has always been known as "Thoroughfare to Nine Provinces", and it is the largest inland water, land and highways transportation hub in China. It serves the role of connecting east and west, as well as north and south and this unique geographical advantage has made Wuhan the only subprovincial city and mega city in the six central provinces of China. At the opening ceremony, the Porsche Classic 911 Speedster (997 model) was displayed at the Porsche Centre Wuhan Dongxihu. It provided an interpretation of the eternal charm of the Porsche brand heritage. In addition, the whole series of Porsche models were also displayed. Each Porsche sports car perfectly combines high performance with everyday usability. Porsche is already in the midst of transformation for digitisation, electrification and interconnection. For the next decade, Porsche will take a product strategy of three pillars, covering optimized combustion engines, plug-in hybrid models and purely electric sports cars, each of which will undoubtedly follow the typical Porsche style. Porsche's first purely electric sports car, the Taycan, will be launched globally in the second half of 2019 and into the Chinese market in 2020.
