Grand Opening of Porsche Centre Hefei Luyang Creating Premium Service to Provide the Ultimate Experience

Shanghai/Hefei. On 8th March 2019, the Porsche Centre in Luyang held its grand opening ceremony, becoming the second Porsche Centre in Hefei, Anhui Province. Porsche Centre Hefei Luyang is located at the intersection of Mengcheng North Road and Guoyang Road, North Second Ring Road, in Luyang District, Hefei City, and covers an area of over 5,000 square meters. Its opening will help local customers to enjoy Porsche's world-renowned products and services, and further demonstrate Porsche's commitment to the Chinese market.

Attending the opening ceremony of the new centre, Mr. David Xiao, Vice President Sales of Porsche China, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the dealers, media and customers for their long-term support and trust, and also stressed that Porsche will continue to adhere to a customer-oriented service philosophy. “Porsche has always greatly valued the relationship with customers and pays great attention to the needs and true feelings of all our customers,”said Mr. Xiao. “Adhering to the concept of sustainability and innovation, we have steadily expanded our dealer network to ensure that every customer can easily enjoy the distinguished personalised service of Porsche.

Porsche Centre Hefei Luyang is a city showroom officially authorized by Porsche China, built in accordance with Porsche’s global standards. With an exhibition area nearly 1,500 square meters and high-level hardware, customers can experience Porsche's high-quality products and services. The centre has a high-standard sales team, and the Porsche Tequipment area to fulfill the individual needs of customers and create an exclusive Porsche car. In addition, the centre applies the con-cept of digitalization, and the dynamic display screen scrolls through Porsche's full range of models, company history and brand image, immersing customers in Porsche's brand culture.

Porsche Centre Hefei Luyang, as the second Porsche Centre in Hefei, expands the scope of Porsche services in the province to meet the needs of more customers, providing Porsche products and thoughtful service and conveying Porsche's continuous innovation and the pursuit of perfection to a wider audience.

At the opening ceremony, the Porsche Classic 911 Speedster (997 model) was displayed at the Porsche Centre in Hefei. It provided an interpretation of the eternal charm of the Porsche brand heritage. In addition, the whole series of Porsche models were also displayed. Each Porsche sports car perfectly combines high performance with everyday usability to showcase the outstanding concept of Porsche “Intelligent Performance”. Among them, the new Macan, which was launched globally in Shanghai last July, further deepening its product positioning as the most stylish and sportiest SUV in its segment. Since the launch of the all-new Cayenne in China in March 2018, market demand has continuously strong, with annual sales volume increasing by 19% year-on-year, making it the best selling model in the Chinese market in 2018.

In 2018, Porsche's global sales reached a new high, with 256,255 new cars delivered, up 4% year-on-year. Porsche China was once again Porsche's global sales leader, delivering 80,108 new vehicles, up 12% year-on-year. The Chinese market has consistently been Porsche's largest single market position in the world for four consecutive years.
