Public museum tour
We offer one-hour tours at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. – depending on demand. Together with other visitors, we will give you an insight into the company‘s history – from ist beginnings to the present day. Registration takes place at the museum ticket counter. The first visitor can choose the guide language, if it is available.

Upon request, you will receive a free electronic multimedia guide with which you can explore our exhibition individually. The multimedia guide contains audio material, further information on individual vehicles and much more.
It is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Russian.We offer a children's version for our younger visitors.
In addition, specially trained guides are available to answer your questions in the exhibition. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
Book a guided tour of a very special kind. The awareness tour enables participants to experience the company's history from a different perspective. It's not just about imparting knowledge, but also about the topic of self-awareness. We invite you to a change of perspective with aids such as blindfolds, wheelchairs and earplugs. In this way, interested parties are made aware of how to deal with people with disabilities. This tour is perfect as a team building measure. Of course you can choose another language besides German or English. We will be happy to check whether a guide can lead you through our exhibition in your preferred language on this day.

If you need information about your visit to the
Accompany us on a journey through time along historical and modern buildings from our more than 80-year old history. Find out how the Zuffenhausen site developed from a design office to one of the most modern automobile plants in the world. Using historical images and documents from the company archive, we will show you the change and growth of our production facility, without entering the buildings. Of course you can choose another language besides German or English. We will be happy to check whether a guide can lead in your preferred language on this day.

If you need information about your visit to the
Wheelchairs and portable folding stools can be requested in advance. The exhibits are easily accessible for wheelchair users and are at eye level. There are two toilets for wheelchair users.
Our guides are trained in dealing with people with special needs. Nevertheless, we ask you to plan on having at least one accompanying person for your visit.
How long does a tour last?
A museum tour usually lasts 1 hour and a factory tour 1.5 hours. For more information please read the tour modules on our website or feel free to send us an email with your questions.
How many people can I bring with me?
That depends on the tour chosen. Normally, up to 25 people can take part in museum tours and up to 15 people in factory tours. For more information please read the tour modules on our website or feel free to send us an email with your questions.
Do I have to sign up for a tour in advance?
Yes, please make an appointment with our booking management. To do so send us an email stating the tour you want, your complete contact details with address, telephone number and your preferred date to info.museum@porsche.de for museum tours or werksfuehrungen@porsche.de for factory tours.
What offers are there for school parties?
We offer Teamspirits for school parties, which are themed tours based on the German curriculum. There are also museum tours, which are specially tailored to the different grade levels.
Are there guided tours for children?
Yes. In the museum, we offer tours specially designed for children. We are currently working on corresponding factory tours. We will keep you up to date on our homepage.
Can I join a tour spontaneously?
Yes, you can join a tour depending on availability. However, this only applies to the open museum tour. For all other tours in the museum or the factory, you need to make an appointment with our booking management in advance.
When do you offer factory tours?
Factory tours take place when production is running, on every Labor Day, except on German public holidays, school vacations or weekends.
Are walkways on guided tours barrier-free?
The guided tours in the museum can be accessed without steps using elevators and ramps, but the walkways in the plant are only partially barrier-free. For more information, feel free to send us an email.
Can I come to the factory tour with my children?
Yes, children aged eight and over are allowed to take part in factory tours with an accompanying person. For more information, feel free to send us an email.
