Our factory tours

Experience the fascination of Porsche behind the scenes, where the heart of the brand beats: at its headquarters in Zuffenhausen. Follow a sports car through production and experience the perfect symbiosis of tradition and modernity. During the factory tour, you will find out what drives us and our sports cars. Be there when a car body is connected to the drive train and the chassis. Take a look at Porsche Production 4.0 – smart, lean and green. We offer three different factory tours – you decide.
Guided tours in the factory 911/718 tour

Join one of our guides to visit where the Porsche 911 and its siblings, the 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman, are built. Where possible, you will see the main assembly line, the boxer engine assembly line and the trim shop. The route depends on prototype construction and may change at short notice. The start and finish line is the foyer of the Porsche Museum. The tour can be booked privately or in a mixed group. On request, the tour is available in languages other than German.

Public 911/718 factory tour per person aged eight and over: 10.00 euros
Private 911/718 factory tour with between one and a maximum of 15 people aged eight and over: 150.00 euros

Important note: participants must be at least eight years-old. Children between the ages of eight and 14 may take part in the factory tour only if accompanied by an adult.

Taycan tour

On this tour you will visit the assembly hall of the brand’s first all-electric super sports car. See the Porsche Taycan’s production line as well as a room in the paint shop, which was integrated into the building especially for our visitors. The start and finish line is the foyer of the Porsche Museum. The distance between the museum and the paint shop is travelled by bus on this tour, and we take private or mixed group bookings. On request, the tour is available in languages other than German.

Public Taycan factory tour per person aged eight and over: 15.00 euros
Private Taycan factory tour with between one and a maximum of 15 people aged eight and over: 225.00 euros

Important note: participants must be at least eight years-old. Children between the ages of eight and 14 may take part in the Taycan tour only if accompanied by an adult.

Powertrain tour

During the powertrain tour, you will gain special insights into the three assembly lines for the boxer and V petrol engines, as well as the electric motors. The latter two are built in the same building, but on different lines. The start and finish line is the foyer of the Porsche Museum. The distance between the museum and the paint shop is travelled by bus on this tour. You can book this tour exclusively as a private tour in German or other languages. Participation from the age of eight is allowed when accompanied by an adult.

Private powertrain tour with between one and a maximum of 15 people aged eight and over: 180.00 euros

Important note: participants must be at least eight years-old. Children between the ages of eight and 14 may take part in the powertrain tour only if accompanied by an adult.

The Porsche factory shops

Would you like to take a souvenir home with you? You will find our Porsche factory shops at our Ludwigsburg location, at the Development Centre in Weissach and at the main factory in Zuffenhausen. The product range of the shops on the factory premises includes clothing, model cars, Tequipment and Porsche Classic products. Please note that access is possible only via the factory gates. This may involve short waiting times.
