Communication Partners announced for the GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Yokohama series
Toronto. Today, Porsche has announced Inside Track Motorsport News and Pole-Position
(French Canada) magazines as Communication Partners for the 2019 GT3 Cup Challenge Canada
by Yokohama series.
The agreements will see enhanced coverage on the series throughout the year in both magazines.
As Communication Partners, Inside Track Motorsport News and Pole-Position will hold more
detailed interviews with those involved in the series, Porsche Centres as well as Porsche Canada,
while covering race results. Both Communication Partners will have logo placements on the lower
rocker panel between the front and rear wheels of the race cars. In addition, Porsche Cars Canada,
Ltd. will be featuring brand advertising in each publication.
“We are delighted to foster partnerships with both publications ahead of the start of the ninth
season of the series,” said Marc Ouayoun, President and CEO, Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd.
“Enhancements are well underway to bring further awareness to the GT3 Cup Challenge Canada
series.”

“We’re very excited about our new relationship with a series that features talented racers in iconic
race cars, competing at Canada’s top events and venues,” said David Weber, Co-Publisher, Inside
Track Motorsport News. “Since we started publishing Inside Track, in 1997, our core mandate
has been to feature and promote Canadian racing. With this partnership, Inside Track will
significantly increase our commitment to showcasing the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada
drivers, cars, teams and events across all of our platforms.”
“As a Canadian Motorsport publication, it is with great pleasure that we associate ourselves with
such a prestigious series,” said Philippe Brasseur, Editor-in-chief, Pole-Position Magazine and
Poleposition.ca. “On a more personal level, I’ve always been a fan of single-make series - where
true talent shines as drivers compete in identical cars – not to mention endurance racing such as
the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where Porsche experienced great success throughout the years and
more recently with the 919 Hybrid and 911 RSR.”
Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd., a dedicated subsidiary of Porsche AG, imports and distributes Porsche
vehicles in Canada. The company employs a team of more than 50 in sales, aftersales, finance,
marketing, network development, and public relations. In 2017, Porsche sold an unprecedented
8,249 units in Canada, up 17% over the prior year.
