Porsche DNA.

Better than ever before, the Cayenne combines performance with day-to-day usability, long-distance comfort, and off-road capability.

Panoramic sliding roof with Variable Light Control.

The panoramic sliding roof is available on request with Variable Light Control. A liquid crystal film is integrated between the glass elements, allowing segments, or the entire surface, to switch between clear and opaque. The front section of the glass roof can still be extended and opened. Its multi-layer structure provides highly effective UV and infrared protection, reducing heat input into the vehicle so efficiently that a mechanical roller blind is no longer required.

Easy fast charging.

Long driving range and short charging stops. The Cayenne can be fast-charged on the road with the speed expected of Porsche, or charged at home with ease and convenience.

Porsche Wireless Charging System.¹

As the first electric vehicle with inductive charging, the Cayenne also sets new standards in convenience when charging at home. Thanks to the inductive vehicle and floor plate of the Porsche Wireless Charging System, all you have to do is park the vehicle over the charging plate. The charging process with up to 9.6 kW starts automatically – and ends automatically when you leave.

Two electric charge port doors.

The Cayenne has an AC charging port on both sides of the vehicle for easy access. This allows it to be charged at home with a charging capacity of up to 9.6 kW¹.

The charging port for powerful DC charging stations is located on the left-hand side of the vehicle. Both charging flaps can be opened electrically using a hand gesture or via the central display.

1Optional upgrade to up to 19.2 kWh from spring 2026.

Consistent high-speed charging.

The innovative charging architecture enables 800-volt high-speed charging with up to 400 kW charging output. By pre-conditioning the battery, the Cayenne can be charged from a 10% State of Charge to 80% in 16 minutes at fast-charging stations, even on very cold or hot days.¹

¹Charging time for direct current (DC) with maximum charging output from 10% SoC to up to 80% SoC under optimal conditions (CCS fast charging station with > 390 kW, > 850 V, > 520 A, battery temperature 15 °C and initial SoC 9%).

Charging Planner.

With active route guidance, the Porsche Charging Planner helps you travel long distances without unnecessary delays. The system plans charging stops along the route and calculates charging times based on your driving profile and battery status. It also regulates the pre-conditioning of the battery before you arrive at the charging stop, optimizing the charging power and reducing the total travel time.

Two electric motors.

The Cayenne's all-wheel drive system consists of two permanent magnet synchronous motors. The electric motor on the front axle with a 350 A pulse inverter is switched off while under partial load, increasing efficiency. The more powerful electric motor on the rear axle is combined with a 480 A pulse inverter, which emphasizes the sporty, rear-biased design of the Cayenne.

Functionally integrated high-voltage battery.

The high-voltage battery is an integral part of the body structure, enhancing overall rigidity. The newly developed battery concept with double-sided cooling intelligently combines high performance with safety. Cooling plates above and below the battery ensure it consistently operates within the optimal temperature range.

Porsche HV battery warranty.

Every fully electric Porsche comes with a worldwide high-voltage (HV) battery warranty covering material and manufacturing defects, valid for eight years or up to 160,000 km.¹

Porsche also guarantees the remaining capacity of the HV battery: 80% of the original net capacity is guaranteed for up to three years or 60,000 km¹, after which at least 70% of the original capacity is guaranteed for the remainder of the HV battery warranty.

Adaptive air suspension.

The air spring struts provide a good balance between comfort and sportiness. The level system maintains a consistent vehicle stance, while adjustable ride height allows for variable ground clearance.
