Porsche Classic Motoroils.

Every relationship has a driving force behind it. With our classics, it's in the engines that we hope will run forever. An essential prerequisite for this: precisely adapted motoroils. But these oils disappear from the market over time – and today's commercially available products are usually not optimized for classic Porsche engines. That’s why Porsche Classic has crafted motoroils perfectly matched to all models from the Porsche 356 to the 911 (type 996).

The development.
The motoroils were developed by engineers from the Porsche Development Center in Weissach alongside experts from Porsche Classic. The basic principle was to adapt Porsche Classic Motoroils to the oil used in the vehicles at the time, fine-tuning them specifically for the materials used by Porsche. The focus was always on the needs and properties of the different Porsche engines.
The result.
After all, rally legend Walter Röhrl once said: ""A car needs love."" As so often, he hit the mark when it comes to motoroil. That’s why our special lubricants have been extensively tested in the lab and on the road for running behavior, material compatibility and lubricating properties. The result: four motoroils in the variants 20W-50, 10W-60, 10W-50 and 5W-50.

In addition to the engines' original requirements, the developers also took longer vehicle stationary times into account. Because classic cars are often stationary and cannot always be warmed up sufficiently when used only occasionally, condensation and combustion residues collect in the engine. This can lead to acidification of the oil, which damages engine parts. The special formulation of Porsche Classic Motoroils counteracts this effect. Other additives also preserve sensitive engine components.

This is how Porsche Classic Motoroil becomes more than a technical product – with the most important additive of all: passion. For legendary Porsche models and long-lasting driving pleasure.

Unique love. Porsche Classic Motoroils.

Every love is special and unique. And of course we want this love and our deep connection to live on forever. Product overview

20W-50 for 356, 914 and early 911 models
Porsche recommends the multigrade variant with a viscosity of 20W-50 for all 356, 914 and 911 models (up to 2.7 liters). When the engine is cold or warm, this oil is the best product for maintaining the classic engine, generates few deposits and offers good compatibility with the materials installed in the vehicle, such as cork gaskets or lead bearing shells.
