With home charging solutions, you can simply plug in your Porsche when you arrive home and charge it until you’re ready to drive again. Based on the experience of Porsche drivers, this accounts for the majority of charging sessions during ownership.

There aren’t many things you can do while you sleep, but charging your Porsche is one of them. With home charging solutions, your Porsche charges while you unwind, so you’re ready for the next day — whether that means a road trip ahead or a spirited drive.

Porsche Wireless Charging

Even simpler and more convenient: Porsche Wireless Charging.

With the new, all-electric generation of the Cayenne Electric, you don't even need to think about connecting the vehicle to the charging cable at home. Simply park over the floor plate of the optionally available Porsche Wireless Charging System¹ installed at home.

¹Availability to be announced. The system can only be used if the pre‑installation with wireless charging vehicle plate was already selected during vehicle configuration. European model shown below, North American wireless charging is limited to a maximum rate of 9.6 kW.

My Porsche App

Everything at a glance and in your control. The My Porsche App.

With the My Porsche App, you can control, adjust, and monitor charging functions at any time. This gives you full oversight of your charging experience, wherever you are.

Your digital pit crew.

Operate selected vehicle functions conveniently via your smartphone with the My Porsche App and services from Porsche Connect.

Start and stop charging.

Have you connected your Porsche to your charger? With the My Porsche App, you can start, pause, or stop the charging process at any time with a compatible smart charger. The app also gives you access to your home charging history and even allows you to download it as a PDF.

Charge timer.

With the timer, you can set your Porsche to be charged and ready to go exactly when you want it to be. This preserves the service life of battery while ensuring that it is at the desired temperature when you start driving.

Charging profile.

You can set up your own charging profiles for frequently visited locations, such as your home or workplace. With these, your Porsche will then charge automatically and in a way that protects the battery – and will be waiting for you with the charge level you have defined.

Preconditioning

Define your comfort zone yourself. Simply set the desired cockpit temperature in the My Porsche App and your Porsche will regulate the cooling or heating process – even before you get behind the wheel.
