1PS (PferdeStärke, German for horsepower) is the standard unit used in the European Union to measure the power output of a motor in ‘metric horsepower’.

2Charging times are based on rates observed during Porsche AG testing on a test vehicle in controlled test conditions using a high speed DC charger for vehicle comparison purposes only. The rates of charge you experience will differ depending on a number of factors such as the ambient conditions, battery size, the amount of charge the battery has and the type of charger. Public DC chargers are typically faster than AC chargers installed at residential premises. We recommend charging to 80 per cent to assist in maximising your vehicle’s battery range and battery life over time.

Easy fast charging.

Long range, short charging stops: the Cayenne charges on the go with typical Porsche performance and also, if desired, with superior comfort at home.

Porsche Wireless Charging System.¹

As the first electric vehicle with inductive charging, the Cayenne also sets new standards in convenience when charging at home. Thanks to the inductive technology, all you have to do is park the vehicle over the charging plate. The charging process with up to 11 kW starts automatically – and ends automatically when you leave.

Two electric charge port doors.

The Cayenne has an AC charging port on both sides of the vehicle for easy access. This allows for charging at home using compatible charging hardware of up to 11 kW¹.

The charging port for powerful DC charging stations is located on the left-hand side of the vehicle. Both charging flaps can be opened electrically using a hand gesture or via the central display.

1Up to 22 kW option available to order from 2nd half of 2026.

Consistently high charging performance.

The innovative charging architecture enables 800-volt high-speed charging with up to TBA charging power¹, and under specific conditions even up to 400 kW charging power². Thanks to intelligent battery thermal management, the Cayenne can be charged from 10% to 80% State of Charge (SoC) in 16 minutes – or up to TBA range within 10 minutes.³

Charging Planner.

With active route guidance, the Porsche Charging Planner helps you travel long distances without unnecessary delays. The system plans charging stops along the route and calculates charging times based on your driving profile and battery status. It also regulates the pre-conditioning of the battery before you arrive at the charging stop, optimising the charging power and reducing the total travel time.

Two electric motors.

The Cayenne's all-wheel drive consists of two permanent magnet synchronous motors. The electric motor on the front axle with a 350 A pulse inverter is switched off while under partial load, increasing efficiency. The more powerful electric motor on the rear axle is combined with a 480 A pulse inverter, which emphasises the sporty, rear-biased design of the Cayenne.

Functionally integrated high-voltage battery.

The high-voltage battery is an integral part of the body structure, increasing the rigidity of the vehicle. The newly developed battery concept with double-sided cooling is an intelligent combination of high performance and safety. A cooling plate above and below the battery ensures that it always operates within the ideal temperature range.

Porsche High-Voltage battery guarantee.

Every new, all-electric Porsche is delivered with a worldwide guarantee against material and manufacturing defects on the high-voltage (HV) battery, which is valid for eight years or up to 160,000 km (whichever comes first).

In addition, we guarantee a minimum residual capacity of the high-voltage battery throughout the warranty period¹.

180% of the original net battery capacity is guaranteed for up to three years or 60,000 km, after which Porsche guarantee at least 70% residual capacity until the end of the HV battery guarantee.

Adaptive air suspension.

The air spring struts allow a greater combination of comfort and sportiness while at the same time maintaining the same ride comfort. The level system helps to maintain a constant ride height. By adjusting the height of the chassis, the ground clearance can be varied as required.
