Your easy way to drive with confidence - the Porsche Approved Warranty.

​Your new or Porsche Approved Pre-Owned vehicle came with global manufacturer warranty coverage reflecting Porsche’s commitment to quality and engineering excellence. For eligible vehicles, the Porsche Approved Warranty offers the opportunity to extend warranty coverage for up to 15 years from the vehicle’s original warranty start date. This continued coverage helps support confidence in your Porsche’s quality, allowing you to focus on enjoying every journey and the unique driving experience that only a Porsche can provide.

#The warranty is not transferable to a sport driving school, licensed motor vehicle dealers acquiring the vehicle for the purpose of resale, rental car entities or businesses whose purpose is transporting passengers.​

^The warranty will be honoured in another country provided that the purchaser presents the vehicle and the warranty certificate to an Official Porsche Centre.​

Importantly, the Porsche Approved Warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) in particular your “consumer guarantee” rights. These rights are not excluded, restricted or modified by this warranty. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:​

to cancel your service contract with us; and​

to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.​

You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.​

The Porsche Approved Warranty is available in the following variants:​

As a follow-up warranty for an existing New Vehicle Warranty or Porsche Approved Warranty.​

As a pre-owned vehicle warranty when purchasing a Porsche Approved Pre-owned Car.

The Porsche Approved Warranty gives you the opportunity to extend warranty coverage beyond your original warranty period, helping to support the ongoing quality and reliability of your Porsche. You may be eligible to extend warranty coverage if your Porsche is less than 14 years old and has travelled less than 200,000 km.

Your vehicle must be approved for road use and remain in its original production condition, unless any changes or modifications have been completed or expressly approved by Porsche.

To be eligible, your vehicle must currently be covered by an existing Porsche Approved Warranty or Porsche New Vehicle Warranty. If your warranty coverage has lapsed, your vehicle may still qualify provided:

• you pay any applicable administration fee; and

• you are the original owner, or became a subsequent owner before the warranty coverage lapsed; and

• your vehicle has been maintained strictly in accordance with the Porsche maintenance schedule; and

• your vehicle successfully passes a Porsche technical inspection.

The Porsche Approved Warranty provides extensive vehicle component coverage. Except for the wear and tear items listed in the ‘Exclusions’ section below, the Porsche Approved Warranty provides comprehensive vehicle component coverage, including the following:​

Engine, electric motor, High Voltage (HV) battery.​

Power train and transmission.​

Suspension and steering.​

Brake system.​

Heating and air conditioning.​

Electrics.​

Xenon and LED lamps.​

Body.​

Exclusions

The Porsche Approved Warranty provides extensive component coverage for eligible vehicles, helping to support the ongoing quality, reliability and ownership experience expected of a Porsche. Certain items are excluded from coverage, including wear and tear components or parts of a vehicle. These exclusions include, but are not limited to, the items listed below:​

Spark plugs, drive belt, drive belt deflection roller and tensioner.​

Clutch disc and pressure plate.​

Shock absorbers, tyres, tyre sealant, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) reservoir.​

Brake pads, brake discs, wear sensors.​

Refrigerant gas.​

Bulbs and fuses (excluding Xenon and LED lamps).​

Batteries.​

Fair wear and tear on High-Voltage (HV-) batteries including reduction in performance and capacity commensurate with its age and usage.​

Wiper blades, floor mats, fire extinguisher.​

Visual and acoustic concerns or rattles that do not affect functionality.​

All filters, fluids, oils and greases.​​

As a Porsche ages, it might undergo visual and acoustic changes without affecting its functionality (e.g. cracks in the leather). Visual and acoustic concerns and the wear and tear items listed above are excluded from the Porsche Approved Warranty and should be attended to during normal scheduled servicing and maintenance.​

How to extend your warranty coverage

Extending your warranty coverage is easy. Simply contact your preferred Official Porsche Centre and speak with your Service Consultant about your eligibility and available extension options.

If your Porsche has recently been serviced at an Official Porsche Centre, you may be eligible to extend your warranty coverage online, or your Service Consultant may be able to extend your warranty coverage over the phone without the need for a technical inspection.​
