Time changes a lot – but not your 996.

The 996 is just as popular today as it was then. After all, it made history back in the 1990s and ushered in a new era for Porsche: that of 911 models with water-cooled engines. When the 996 was launched in model year 1998, Porsche finally abandoned the air-cooling design that had previously been used. Instead, the 996 received a more powerful version of the new water-cooled six-cylinder boxer engine. It was a turning point in Porsche's history.

But this wasn’t the only innovation. As well as the new engine concept, its chassis was also further enhanced and its body altered – becoming noticeably and visibly larger. The 996 initiated not only a technical, but also a stylistic change. Changes that paid off. After all, the 996 series was the best-selling 911 series back then.

A truly successful model, with a character that is just as inspiring today as when it was first released. A good reason to keep this special classic in its original condition after all these years. Even if you may want to change some details. That’s no problem with the matching genuine accessories that were developed for your model at that time. After all, you like your 996 exactly as it is: authentic.

Wheels

Traction has no age.

Wheels always had a significant influence on the sportiness of a Porsche. Nothing has changed. Just like the look of the wheels for your classic car. In short: A driving experience and appearance that is as original as in the 90s but with the addition of modern traction. There’s no need to compromise on either the look or performance of the wheels for your 996. Because even if you want to change something on your Porsche, it should still be contemporary. Just as it was then.

Sports tailpipes

Great original sound. Even better looks.

The sound of your Porsche can still be refined – even after two decades. And although your Porsche has been at its best in terms of design and performance since day one, there was always room for improvement. And still is. The original sports tailpipes from back in the day stylishly enhance the dynamics of your classic car. At first and last glance.

Performance and design

The world keeps turning. Character remains.

The enthusiasm of the past can be even greater today. Just like the performance, by the way. The Carrera rear spoiler enhances not only the appearance of your 996, but also its aerodynamics. The rigid rear spoiler replaces the standard electric spoiler and highlights the sporty design of your classic car – while also optimising handling. This was the case in the 90s. And it remains true today.

You now hold the key to the past. With the Design key, this is literally true.

So it's no wonder that the 996 is still one of the most popular classics to this day – and that there is a wide range of interior and exterior accessories for it.
