911 Carrera

The successor to the air-cooled classic: The 996 Carrera was a completely new development and didn't have very much in common with the previous 911.

911 Carrera 4

From October 1998, the model range was expanded with the 911 Carrera 4, which came with permanent all-wheel drive and was offered as a Coupé and as a Cabriolet.

911 Turbo

The new 911 Turbo Coupé was launched in spring 2000. The vehicle identification numbers, however, were assigned to the model year 2001.

911 GT2

In autumn 2000, Porsche launched the super sporty 911 GT2. Although based on the bodyshell of the 911 Turbo, it had a different front section with three modified air intakes and additional ventilation slots on the top of the front section for radiator exhaust air.

911 GT3

The extremely sporty 911 GT3 Coupé was launched in May 1999. A performance-enhanced naturally aspirated engine was combined with a lighter bodyshell and a sporty, firmer chassis.
