With the new, all-electric generation of the Cayenne Electric, you don't even need to think about connecting the vehicle to the charging cable at home. Simply park over the floor plate of the optionally available Porsche Wireless Charging System installed at home.

Porsche Wireless Charging System.¹

The Cayenne Electric sets new comfort standards for home charging: with an inductive vehicle and floor charging plate. Once the vehicle is parked over the floor plate, the charging process starts automatically at up to 11 kW — and is automatically stopped upon departure.

¹The charging plate is an optional extra that Porsche AG expects will be available to order during the second half of 2026. The system can only be used if the pre-installation with wireless charging vehicle plate was already selected during vehicle configuration.

Start and stop charging.

Have you connected your Porsche to your charger? Then you can use the My Porsche App to start, pause or stop the charging process at any time. The app also gives you access to your home charging history and even allows you to download it as a PDF.

With the timer, you can set your Porsche to be charged and ready to go exactly when you want it to be. This preserves the service life of battery while ensuring that it is at the desired temperature when you start driving.

You can set up your own charging profiles for frequently visited locations, such as your home or workplace. With these, your Porsche will then charge automatically and in a way that protects the battery – and will be waiting for you with the charge level you have defined.
