Meet the 911 Turbo S Land Down Under.

Across Australia's vast and demanding landscapes, native flora and fauna have flourished for generations. For 75 years, Porsche has built its own enduring connection to this country, building a legacy that continues to grow stronger.

To mark this milestone, Porsche Australia collaborated with the experts at Porsche Sonderwunsch, the Style Porsche Team, and globally renowned contemporary artist Werner Bronkhorst to create a unique Sonderwunsch Commission, a tribute to the beauty and ruggedness of this remarkable land.

More than two years in the making, this bespoke 911 Turbo S is the most extensive individualisation project ever realised for Australia. Featuring new colours, materials and handcrafted details developed specifically for this vehicle. Every aspect has been carefully considered, and every detail contributes to its story. Our story. Welcome to the 'Land Down Under' – a Sonderwunsch creation inspired by Australia.

The brief.

The vision was simple: create a Sonderwunsch Commission that reflects the distinctive character of Australia, from the rich ochres of the outback to expansive blue skies and the brilliance of the Southern Hemisphere night sky.

The result is Land Down Under - a unique interpretation of the continent's colours, textures and horizons.

Sonderwunsch.

Sonderwunsch, German for 'Special Request', represents the pinnacle of individualisation at Porsche, combining craftsmanship, technical expertise and innovative design to realise highly individual vehicles.

A world of firsts.

This 911 Turbo S Land Down Under is distinguished by its bespoke dual-Chromaflair paint finish – the first of its kind on a Porsche. This colour-shifting paint technology uses complex reflective pigments to create remarkable depth, movement and subtle transitions.

A dynamic canvas.

Two bespoke Chromaflair colours developed specifically for this project – Terra Australis Red and Southern Cross Blue create a hand-applied gradient across the body, designed to echo the vast Outback’s transition from red earth to blue sky.

Hidden details.

Carefully considered details reward closer inspection. A subtle “75” motif integrated into the roof graphic and a discreet “See ya later mate” concealed beneath the rear spoiler commemorate 75 years of Porsche in Australia.

Bring the outside, inside.

Inside, Dark Night Blue leather is paired with a newly developed shade, Coolibah Brown. Adaptive Sports Seats debut a paintbrush-style perforated centre panel in Kalahari, while embossed headrests commemorate 75 years of Porsche in Australia.

Textures of Australia.

Sustainably sourced Australian timber inlays across the dash and seatbacks come from Queensland Silky Oak – a robust hardwood with a uniquely delicate silver laced grain. Integrated Topographical references to the Blue Mountains add further geographic storytelling.

Under Southern Skies.

The roof lining features an embroidered map of the Southern Hemisphere sky as it appeared in 1951 — the year Porsche first arrived in Australia. Executed in Neodyme, the design creates a subtle tribute to Porsche’s Australian journey.

Artist Werner Bronkhorst collaborated on the project, with custom artworks inspired by Australia's landscapes, wildlife and culture integrated throughout. Bronkhorst's style also informed the unique seat insert design, another first within a Porsche Sonderwunsch project.Learn more about the artist

Designed for performance, sculpted to evoke emotion. 

Beneath its bespoke exterior and handcrafted interior, the Land Down Under remains every bit a 911 Turbo S. Its performance, engineering and dynamic capability remain unchanged, demonstrating that individuality and performance can coexist without compromise.
