There can be no doubt about the origin of the new 911 Turbo. In its form, proportions and lines, it is clearly a Porsche. The wings in the new 911 Turbo models are higher than the front lid; the 28 extra millimeters at the back compared to previous models are designed to look especially sporty. Height and overhangs have been reduced.
The wheelbase is 100 mm longer than previous models, improving stability and stretching the roof line. The new 911 Turbo models look more powerful and even more sporty .
A typical feature of the 911 Turbo is the rear wing which has been completely revised and, together with the adaptive spoiler at the front, forms the completely new Porsche Active Aerodynamics system.
At 20 inches on both models, the standard wheels are one inch larger than on previous models. They are forged and designed in a high-quality two-tone look. The new standard wheels on the 911 Turbo S are half an inch wider and have a central locking device derived from motorsport.
A standard feature on the new 911 Turbo S is the nose panel with additional air blades and the SportDesign exterior mirrors with V-shaped base. Their delicate appearance proves that sportiness isn’t just a question of power. Because you can save on material – and gain in looks.
The new LED headlights featuring Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+) are another example of the high standards we set in the design of the 911 Turbo models. They use little energy and give the S model an even more memorable look, as standard. They are also available as an option for the new 911 Turbo.
Inside – the evolution of the Turbo principle continues. The newly designed interior is focused on just one thing: the driver. All of the information comes together behind the steering wheel. The rising central console is impressive with intelligent operating concept and clever ergonomics.
