Take a journey back in time.
Behind the wheel of a Porsche, of course.
This is a chance for you to explore the fascinating world of Porsche up close. Take a journey through the captivating history of the company, which the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart was built to commemorate. The dynamic nature of the marque is superbly demonstrated from the outside by the building’s striking architecture. The vehicles on display within the museum clearly reflect the values for which Porsche typically stands: endurance, a sense of tradition and the spirit of innovation.
But to really get to appreciate a Porsche sports car, you need to take to the driver’s seat yourself. The second part of the day is therefore dedicated to a close confidante of the Porsche marque: the road. Experience the unforgettable feeling of driving a Porsche – through long stretches of glorious countryside, on meandering country roads and, of course, on the motorway.
Upon arrival in Stuttgart, your Porsche tour guide will greet you at the Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen. Your journey through automotive history starts here, and you’ll find no shortage of highlights. The exhibition features around 80 vehicles on display in a remarkable setting designed by the Viennese architects, Delugan Meissl. In addition to famous icons such as the 356 or 550 Spyder, you’ll also discover some of our finest technological achievements from the early 20th century through to the present day. Afterwards, enjoy a guided tour of the factory where our sports cars are produced. This concludes the theoretical side of things.
After lunch, you collect your vehicle for the tour. Start the engine and set off towards Heilbronn and along the motorway to the Hohenlohe region, passing Jagsthausen and Götzenburg Castle, made famous by the Goethe play ‘Götz von Berlichingen’. Stop off at Schöntal Abbey, before travelling along the edge of the Neckartal-Odenwald nature reserve and returning in the early evening to your starting point: the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart.
