After individual arrival, you will be greeted at Svolvær Airport. Depending on your time of arrival, you will be free to spend the rest of the day as you please. The whole group meets up in the evening to get to know each other. After a briefing about the days ahead, you then set off with the group for dinner at Svolvær harbour.
At the start of your tour, the route takes you to some of the most spectacular sights of Lofoten. The first stop is the Viking Museum in Borg where you go on a short guided tour and enjoy a traditional lunch. Afterwards, you continue to Reine – an idyllic fishing village with a unique charm of its own. The return journey to your hotel in Svolvær offers a number of photo opportunities and, of course, many miles of unlimited driving pleasure in a Porsche Cayenne.
In the evening, you travel by RIB boat along the famous Trollfjord to a small uninhabited island. Over dinner around an open fire, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to review the experiences of the day.
Enjoy breakfast before setting off for Andenes, known as the centre of whale watching – and not without good reason. Upon arrival, you visit the excursion station for the whale safari. After lunch, it’s time for the pure exhilaration of travelling out to the whales on an expedition boat. The likelihood of being able to watch these impressive marine mammals up close is particularly high here.
Following the whale safari, you take the ferry over to the island of Senja and go straight to your destination for the night: the Hotel Senja Hamm, where you join the rest of the group for dinner.
The morning is free to spend as you please with a leisurely breakfast, for example – or a kayak tour. Afterwards, it’s time to set off towards Finnsnes from where you take the Hurtigruten ferry to Tromsø. Enjoy lunch on board before going ashore and continuing your journey through the breathtaking countryside to Alta. Spend the night at the Rica Hotel Alta where you can relax over dinner at the end of an eventful day’s driving.
After breakfast, it’s time to head north for another highlight of the tour: a king crab safari. Upon arrival in Honningsvåg and check-in at the hotel, you head out by boat on the open seas to the fishing grounds. There’s no need to ask what’s for lunch. A selection of freshly-caught king crab, of course.
In the afternoon, you continue north. Firstly, travelling by boat into the Gjesværstappan nature reserve, home to a large number of puffins, northern gannets, cormorants and sea eagles.
The bird safari is followed by the main attraction of the tour – your arrival at the North Cape. Enjoy a guided tour of the museum, before dinner at the Panorama Restaurant. Shortly before midnight, you leave the restaurant to witness an incredible spectacle of nature: the midnight sun. Naturally, you will have the opportunity to take some souvenir shots on the cliff of the North Cape. After this unforgettable experience, it’s time to head back to your hotel in Honningsvåg.
On the last day of the tour, you set off in a Porsche Cayenne to Karasjok, stopping for a traditional lunch around an open fire at the Rica Hotel. Afterwards, those wishing to gain a deeper insight into the Sami way of life can visit the nearby Sami Park and museum.
In the late afternoon, you arrive at the final destination of your tour: Ivalo. Unfortunately it’s now time to bid farewell to your Porsche. Savour an early dinner, followed by the transfer to Ivalo Airport for individual departure.
