Porsche and Michelin look back on a longstanding and extraordinarily successful cooperation. It has led to memorable achievements such as the one-two victory with the 911 GT1 in the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1998. Currently, Michelin supplies racing tyres for the 911 GT3 Cup cars competing in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and the international Porsche Carrera Cup series. The 911 GT3 RSR racing in the ALMS and the FIA GT championships as well as Porsche road and race models in the Porsche Sports Cup are also equipped with Michelin tyres.

Michelin is also involved as a technology partner in the RS Spyder project, developing a high-performance racing tyre for use in the ALMS LMP2 class. The absolute will to succeed forms the basis of this cooperation and results in groundbreaking developments for the Porsche road car range.
