The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup opening event will not take place in the Kingdom of Bahrain on March 12th/13th, 2011 as planned. Due to political unrests, it is impossible to ensure a safe ambiance where the race can take place. Also, Formula One will not start in Bahrain on March 13th, 2011.
If the Formula One event and consequently also the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup will be postponed has not been confirmed yet.
Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup will start into the season on May 8th, 2011 in Istanbul.
