On this tour, you’ll explore some of the most beautiful places – and most spectacular bends – in Liguria. You will be based at the world-famous Hotel Splendido in Portofino. Offering a unique blend of fishing traditions and high society, this picturesque seaside town is home to a number of famous actors and artists. You’ll often see yachts belonging to the jet set moored alongside little fishing boats in the bay. This is the ideal base for a number of fascinating tours. After a challenging drive along narrow country lanes, you can sit back and enjoy driving to the full on the coastal roads. You’ll also have the chance to dine at a number of exclusive restaurants along the way.

Individual travel to Genoa Airport where you will be greeted and driven to the five-star Hotel Splendido in Portofino. After a welcome cocktail on arrival, relax over dinner on the hotel terrace with views of the bay and cliff-side villas belonging to prominent actors.

The tour continues along winding country roads towards Chiavari before heading inland to Varese Ligure, a sleepy village in the heart of Liguria where time seems to have stood still for decades. After lunch at the Degli Amici restaurant, it’s time to head back along the meandering route to the Mediterranean coast. Return to Portofino, where you have some time to relax before the boat trip to the neighbouring fishing village of Camogli. Enjoy a dinner of fresh seafood specialities at the La Rotonda seaside restaurant, followed by the return journey by boat to Portofino.

Experience another fantastic day of driving and the chance to tackle a number of different corners on the journey along the coast to Rapallo. The route through numerous olive groves is a delight for all the senses in a Porsche. Pass through Cicagna, Favale and Santo Stefano, then over the 1,500-metre high Passo del Tomarlo to Bedonia. Stop off en route at a traditional inn where you can enjoy an incredible selection of regional specialities. After lunch, head back along the coast to Portofino. In the evening, round off an exhilarating day in style with dinner at the Le Chuflay restaurant in Portofino Bay.

On today’s leg of the tour, you drive to Cinque Terre, a national park and UNESCO world heritage site. The route takes you along winding roads through the mountains. Stop for lunch on the coast near Lévanto, before heading back to Portofino. In the evening, a shuttle bus will take you to San Fruttuoso, 10 km (6 miles) from Portofino, where the day draws to a close over dinner with views of the Italian Riviera.

Breakfast followed by the transfer from the Hotel Splendido to Genoa Airport for individual departure. You’ll certainly remember the picture-postcard town of Portofino for a long time to come.
