Porsche and Michelin look back on a longstanding and successful partnership. Through its pioneering developments in the field of high-performance tyres, Michelin is contributing to Porsche being able to meet its customer requirements.
Every Porsche is guaranteed to have superb handling characteristics. This is due in no small part to the fact that specific tyres are manufactured for each individual model. The main link between the car and the road, the tyre is designed at an early stage in the vehicle development process.
Michelin currently supplies racing tyres for the 911 GT3 Cup cars competing in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and the international Porsche Carrera Cup series, the 911 GT3 RSR and 911 GT3 R racing in various national and international GT championships, as well as the Porsche sports cars used in the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland. Porsche trusts in the quality of MICHELIN tyres, both on road and track.
