The battle for fractions of a second. For positions. A place on the podium. Starting with the 2012 season, 2 Porsche junior pilots get into the action. First challenge: the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland - on a self-selected team. Porsche allocates the lion's share of the season´s budget. And provides the junior drivers with an experienced coach, supporting them both on and off the track.
Depending on performance, the Porsche juniors can look forward to advancing into the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup in their second season. The world's fastest international one-make cup event is held in tandem with the Formula 1 races. Offering great exposure to the up-and-coming drivers. While at the same time Porsche is adding new talent to its driver lineup for the Carrera Cup Deutschland.
Challenge and support: At Porsche this means providing more than just challenges and financial support. The pilots receive mentoring and assistance similar to that of the internationally successful Porsche works drivers. Fitness training with regularly adapted training plans are as much a part of the agenda as media training and sponsor contacts.
