The power of the Cayenne Platinum Edition is applied effectively to the road by Porsche Traction Management (PTM). This active all-wheel drive system features an electronically variable, map-controlled multi-plate clutch, an automatic brake differential (ABD) and anti-slip regulation (ASR). In conjunction with Porsche Stability Management (PSM), PTM ensures the perfect distribution of drive torque to all four wheels – for optimum traction in all road scenarios, whether on long straights, through tight corners or on surfaces with different friction coefficients.
The PTM on the Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition features a permanent all-wheel drive system with self-locking centre differential.
