Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) is fitted as standard in the 911 Turbo S models (available as an option for the 911 Turbo models). PDCC is an active anti-roll system that suppresses lateral body movement during cornering manoeuvres. In addition, it minimises the lateral instability of the vehicle on uneven ground. With the result that the car holds the road even better and performs even more dynamically.
This effect is achieved with the aid of hydraulic stabilising actuators in the form of cylinders designed to optimise camber. Lateral roll is counteracted by forces generated at each individual wheel, based on steering angle and lateral acceleration.
But what does that mean? Improved dynamic performance and increased ride comfort at all speeds. As well as optimised turn-in and stable load transfer characteristics.
