Stuttgart. Achim Schneider (42) is set to become the new Head of Corporate Communications at Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG as of the 1st of January 2013. In his new role, Schneider will be reporting to the Director Communications Hans-Gerd Bode as deputy.
Following his studies of business administration with a focus on finance and accounting, as well as marketing, Achim Schneider has been working in various companies in the field of communication since 1995. He served as spokesman for Jenoptik; for Infineon and Tognum he oversaw the fields investor relations and financial communications. He also gained international experience during a three-year stay in the USA. Schneider is joining Porsche from the Robert Bosch GmbH. There, he is responsible for Media and Public Relations as deputy head for central Corporate Communications.
"Achim Schneider will strengthen the Porsche Corporate Communications by adding a known expert, who has already gained a wide range of experience in different industries," as Hans-Gerd Bode introduces the new employee.
Schneider succeeds Dirk Erat, who has accepted a new professional challenge as of the 1st of September 2012.
