Stuttgart/Leipzig. Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, will debut its Cayenne Diesel, the second generation of the 911 GT3, as well as the new Boxster and Cayman models, for the first time in Germany at the 19th AMI Auto Show, which will be held between March 28 and April 5.
“Since the opening of our Leipzig plant in August 2002 Porsche and the Leipzig region have been closely affiliated. Therefore it is a given that Porsche will once again be represented at the AMI,” emphasizes Bernhard Maier, Chairman of the Executive Board at Porsche Deutschland GmbH. “Our commitment in Leipzig shows the high value that Porsche places on the German market,” further explains Maier.
For the Cayenne Diesel its debut at the AMI means a true “home game” because it will be built in the Porsche plant only a few miles away. A particular treat for sports car fans is that Porsche will unveil the new 911 GT3 for the first time in Germany during Press Day on March 27. With 435 HP (320 kW) and a top speed of 312 km/h, it is stronger and faster than its predecessor and will be available at dealerships starting in May. Porsche cars will be on show in Hall 5 and can be viewed daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
