IAA Club Evening 2007 350 Porsche Club Members visiting the IAA in Frankfurt

On the occasion of the 62nd International Motor Show, Porsche Club Coordination invited their Porsche Club members to the IAA Club Evening on 17th of September 2007. In total 350 Porsche Club members from Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Czech Republic, United States and Korea participated in order to celebrate their passion for Porsche and to receive news from the Porsche AG.

The Porsche Club Coordination provided day tickets for all guests, so that the Club members could visit the fair during daytime and to acquaint themselves with the novelties of the automotive industry. At the beginning of the evening the guests were welcomed with a drink at the Porsche stand.
Mr. Bernhard Maier, General Manager of Porsche Deutschland GmbH, inaugurated the event with his speech treating of the last and very successful fiscal year of Porsche AG. Moreover, the new GT2, the 911 Turbo Cabriolet, the special edition of the Cayman S and the Cayenne GTS were presented in detail.

Afterwards Ms. Sandra Mayr, Teamleader of the Porsche Club Coordination worldwide, welcomed all Porsche Club members and expressed her gratitude to all guests for their engagement, their enthusiasm for the Porsche brand and for their great support. The entire evening programme was moderated by Ms. Eve Scheer and all the above mentioned highlights were illustrated by means of an impressive virtual Media Show.

Finally, Porsche Club members were regaled with a comprehensive range of food and drinks in the usual manner. The band “Acoustic Soul” was responsible for the musical entertainment - an all around successful evening, which ended too quickly - as usual!
