Take a journey back through six decades of sports car engineering.
In just six days.
Exclusivity and sports appeal – the two are combined in this extraordinary tour. Starting at the very origins of the marque in a small design office in Gmünd and continuing on to Zuffenhausen and the Porsche Design Studio in Zell am See.
In short: an opportunity for you to discover the world of Porsche up close. In a way that could hardly be more authentic: behind the wheel of a Porsche Exclusive vehicle.
Individual arrival in Stuttgart and your destination for the first two nights of the tour: the Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin Hotel. In the evening, relax over a welcome dinner and find out what we have in store for you over the days ahead.
After breakfast, the first highlight of the tour awaits: a guided tour of the Porsche Exclusive manufacturing facility. Witness with your own eyes how even the most extraordinary customisation requests are turned into reality with meticulous handcraftsmanship. Enjoy lunch at the Christophorus Restaurant, which is located on the top floor of the Porsche Museum.
Afterwards, we take you on a guided tour of the Porsche Museum where state-of-the-art architecture meets timeless sports car design. With more than 80 vehicles on display, including icons such as the 356, 550, 911 and 917 as well as many special exhibits, it really brings the whole of Porsche history to life.
In the evening, relax over dinner at the hotel with a chance to review the experiences of the day.
The two previous days have been all about Porsche and its past. On this leg of the tour, you get to make history yourself as you set off from Stuttgart in selected Porsche Exclusive vehicles and head for the Alps.
Pass through Füssen with its medieval old quarter set between steep mountains and tranquil lakes, before continuing on to Pfronten. Stop for lunch at the Schlossanger Alp restaurant, which stands at an altitude of 1,130 metres. Marvel at the spectacular panoramic views as you savour the hearty Allgäu cuisine prepared using fresh ingredients from the hotel’s own garden.
Your next destination is Austria, or Kitzbühel to be more precise. Head along winding country roads in typical sporting style to this chic winter resort, where you will stay at the Grand SPA Resort A-ROSA Kitzbühel – one of the region’s top luxury residences.
After breakfast with the group, you set off in your selected Porsche on the journey to Zell am See where you visit the Porsche Design Studio. Since 1974 it has been responsible for producing exclusive objects renowned for their distinctive, timeless and purist design.
Then it’s time to take to the wheel of a Porsche again and savour every mile on the return journey to your hotel in Kitzbühel.
The fifth day of the tour begins with a journey back in time. You set off over the Grossglockner to the idyllic village of Gmünd – the place where the success story of Porsche began.
Highlights include a visit to the Porsche Museum Pfeifhofer – formerly the Porsche design office. These impressions will stay with you as you head for Salzburg, where you spend the night at the Schloss Fuschl Hotel in Hof on the shores of Lake Fuschlsee.
Unfortunately, all good things have to come to an end. Savour the last few miles in a Porsche on the return journey to Stuttgart, followed by individual departure in the afternoon.
