This tour of Burgundy and Alsace is a gourmet and wine connoisseur’s dream, offering Epicurean delights renowned the world over paired with landscapes of outstanding natural beauty and a rich cultural heritage. Your first impressions of the Burgundy region will be dreamlike in character – quaint little villages with ancient half-timbered buildings, attractive vineyards and cosy wine bars.

Your tour begins at Porsche AG in Ludwigsburg where you collect your Porsche sports car. Set off along the small, winding roads through the Black Forest, the ideal setting in which to discover the incomparable driving dynamics of a Porsche. Stop for lunch at the beautifully situated Traube Tonbach in Baiersbronn. Enjoy the stunning views of the Tonbach Valley, while savouring the culinary creations of head chef Henry Oskar Fried served in an elegant, rustic atmosphere. Afterwards, you continue along country roads towards Freiburg and your destination for the night: the Colombi Hotel – one of the few luxury hotels in the city and a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. Day two begins with the journey past Mulhouse to Besançon where you break for lunch. The tour then continues along magnificent country roads through the Côte-d’Or into Burgundy with its famous wine-producing towns. Enjoy a wine tasting session and a dinner of regional specialities, before retiring to your room at the exclusive Abbaye de la Bussière Hotel. Highlights at this traditional establishment include a splendid 15-hectare park and excellent cuisine.

Travel to Epinal where you stop for lunch in the Les Ducs de Lorraine restaurant. Afterwards, your exhilarating journey continues along the meandering roads that weave their way through the Vosges mountains. The route then takes you along the Alsace Wine Road past picturesque wine villages, before reaching your final destination for the day, the Le Parc Hotel in Obernai near Strasbourg.
