A selection of classic cars from the Porsche Museum will be specially flown in to be part of the drive. The classic cars will be part of the convoy from Singapore to the meeting point in Malaysia before returning to Singapore in time for the race weekend.

Porsche 356 A 1600 S Speedster

Porsche’s U.S. importer Max Hoffman wants a particular kind of Porsche for North America; he gets it in this lightweight Speedster. A distinguishing feature is the low windshield, which helps improve aerodynamics. The plastic side windows are inserted. The spartanly equipped Speedster is made with several engine versions. The center mountings of the 15-inch wheels are attractive eye-catchers.

Porsche 356 B 1600 S 90 Coupé

The new Porsche model 356 B shows marked changes: Higher placed headlights have led to different fender contours. Two oval air inlets in the front skirt have been installed to improve cooling for the new light-metal drum brakes. The insignia now appears on the wider trunk-lid handle as well as the wheel caps.
