Porsche Asia Pacific Pte Ltd commenced operations on the 1st October 2001 and was founded in order to give Porsche closer ties with markets that are becoming increasingly more important to us. Our existing model range has always had a strong following in this region, but Porsche realized that to give us the opportunity for further growth, it was necessary to follow a strategy of decentralization and open a regional office in Singapore.

Porsche Asia Pacific was established to support our importers in the region. In our office, we offer full support for our importers with dedicated people who look after all aspects of Sales, Marketing and After Sales issues. We also have a technical hotline where our importers can contact us quickly and efficiently to resolve problems as soon as they arise so that customer inconvenience is kept to a minimum and we liaise directly with the factory in Germany to ensure that our importers are up to date with all the latest product and technical information.

This important move in the region has given the company the opportunity to get closer to our market and our customers; this gives us the perfect foundation on which to base our future plans, as without direct knowledge from the markets, we are not in a position to know what are the needs, wants and expectations of our customers. It also gives us the chance to get feedback directly from our markets so that we can work with our importers to improve and enhance the services that you, our customer, receive. This is very important to us if we are to ensure our future growth and grasp the opportunity that new models such as the Cayman S will offer.

However, Porsche is certainly no newcomer to the region, having been represented since 1955 with our first importer in Hong Kong. Since that time we have steadily built up our network of dedicated importers in all countries of the Asia Pacific region. Furthermore we are still growing and constantly looking for potential Porsche markets in our region. Porsche enjoys excellent relations with the drivers of our cars in the region, and we certainly look forward to welcoming more enthusiasts to our family.
