The latest engine technology developed to reduce environmental impact has a name: hybrid. The combination of combustion engine and electric motor clearly reduces fuel consumption, but not all hybrids are the same. Porsche has opted for a particularly efficient, technically sophisticated concept which has never been implemented before: the parallel full hybrid.
In the future, we will offer a Cayenne featuring a V6 engine with this drive concept. The aim is that the Cayenne S Hybrid will achieve fuel consumption of less than 9 litres per 100 kilometres, which corresponds to CO2 emissions of less than 210 g/km.* The Panamera will also be offered with hybrid technology.
* The consumption values given are based on the combined cycle in the NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) to Euro 5 (715/2007/EC and 692/2008/EC). The figures do not relate to an individual vehicle but are intended solely as a means of comparing different vehicle types.
