Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG), available as standard equipment in the 911 Turbo models, delivers significantly more power and torque, even at low engine speeds. With the VTG, maximum torque is reached at lower a rpm and is retained across a wider rev range. On the 911 Turbo, a full 460 lb.-ft.of torque is available from 1,950 rpm to 5,000 rpm. As a result, the superlative performance of the cars is matched with its efficiency.
